Location: Chisinau

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice on the new Bank products and services ensuring that are in line with current legal framework;
• Developing and reviewing of contract templates for various banking products and services;
• Drawing up a regular basis summary on amendments made to the national laws and regulations relating to the Bank’s activity;
• Providing support to all departments regarding the compliance of Bank’s operations with current legal framework, internal rules and standards;
• Drafting/Reviewing contracts signed at the Bank level with third parties;
• Assist with preparing legal memoranda and similar documents;
• Elaboration and record of powers of attorney issued on behalf of the Bank and their notarial authentication;
• Provide necessary legal support to all Branches and Head Office Departments/Units;
• Together with other departments responsible to foster a compliance culture throughout the Bank;
• Responsible for compliance risk managing at the Bank level.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law;
• 2 – 5 years relevant experience in banking, insurance and/or capital markets fields would be desirable;
• Good command of English (spoken and written);
• Excellent computer literacy;
• Ability to work independently and perform complex activities and analysis;
• Attention to details and commitment to quality of the work performed;
• Ability to systematically and logically analyze information;
• Willingness and ability to learn and to improve continuously;
• Team player.
