Senior Data Engineer

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Senior Data Engineer to work with our International Partners.

The role will play a pivotal role in leveraging data for marketing initiatives, consolidating intricate datasets into cohesive structures to enrich customer insights and inform strategic business decisions.

what you will be doing:

• Understand, solve, collect, and structure data to drive insights and support decision-making
• Implement technical solutions to optimize data processing and analysis
• Expand marketing and sales automation strategies across various digital and assisted channels
• Work closely with business, analytics team, data science and DevOps team on the further development and improvement of a large-scale machine learning system
• Design, implement, test, deploy and monitor streaming data transformation pipelines that calculate features for predictive models
• Architect, implement, and manage cloud resources effectively. Ensure the security, scalability, and availability of our infrastructure
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence

what we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years in a Data Engineering role with extensive AWS experience
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS. A deep understanding of data warehousing, modelling, privacy, security, and governance
• Extensive experience with AWS Glue, Step Functions, Airflow, and S3 for designing and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows
• Strong familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, Redshift, SageMaker, and DynamoDB, or their Azure equivalents
• Proficient in Terraform for managing infrastructure and GitLab/GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of MLOps principles for integrating machine learning workflows into data pipelines
• Eagerness for growth and embracing challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English plus collaboration skills
