Purcari Wineries is seeking forward an experienced Export Manager to develop the export on USA and Canada Regions.
We are looking for an experienced Export Manager to join our fast-growing international business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the international trade, develop new export markets, at the same time ensuring compliance with the regions` laws.

Job purpose:
This role involves developing and implementing export strategies for the markets which are in our zone of interest. You should successfully establish and manage relationships with our international partners, develop and maintain our export database. The main purpose is to maximize the export profits by using your best planification and excellent communications skills. You also should be highly organized and success oriented. Though the Export Manager plays a key role within the sales team and the future employee will be required to contribute significantly to the sales strategy and determinating budgets and sales targets also finding the best way to achieve them.

The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position and 5+ experience in the sales department, preferable in the same industry. Also you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economy, international relations or marketing;
  • Proven experience in export business
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge in foreign trade and market trends
  • In-depth knowledge of the mentioned export regions both markets and laws
  • Good negotiation and excellent communication skills
  • Ability and wish to travel abroad for participation in international expositions and meeting the partners.
  • Optimistic and success-oriented mindset
  • High proactivity and team collaboration
  • Result-driven, cultured, and well presented
  • Fluent in English and Romanian languages

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Operations Planning:

  • Strong and permanent collaboration with marketing and production departments to create a develop sales plans and build successful strategies.
  • Coordinate with the production department the amount of the export products for the next periods
  • Create and develop export plans, budgeting the next period costs and planning the future incomes
  • Good understanding of business finance and ability to manage budgets as well as set sales targets, achieving them and evaluating sales data

Export management:

  • Build and maintain strong export network to assure new posibilities on the markets
  • Negotiate favorable long-term contracts, preparing export documentation

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve the export processes by implementing export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs
  • Implement new technologies and tools to streamline workflows and improve overall sales performance

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks within the export strategies and actions and develop proactive strategies to minimize them
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the export markets and best practices


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of export activities.
