Social Media Manager (SMM)

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and talented Social Media Manager to join our team that will make things happen and contribute to developing and implementing the Social Media strategy of our clients.

Main purpose of the role
You will play an essential role in our growing SMM team, within Ogilvy affiliated department, you will be creating and managing breathtaking social media campaigns to support the growth of our continuously expanding client base. Your main responsibilities will include developing, launching and leading the social media strategies and their implementation.

We are a local full-service communication agency, founded in 2003, affiliated with Ogilvy international network, with creative and strategic-oriented multidisciplinary teams, such as: Creative Team, Client Service Team, Media Team, SMM Team and BTL & events Team.

What will you do?

  • You will develop content strategies and plans for our clients social media campaigns and oversee production of social media content
  • Always working to meet client goals and objectives through thorough execution of plans that result in measurable endpoints
  • You will generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) according to established strategies and posting schedules
  • Adjust social strategy according to KPI pacing
  • Monitor traffic and social media best practices and technologies
  • Provide monthly reports that reflect the success extent of every social media campaign and help improve the content and engagement
  • Monitor user engagement and suggest proper content optimization
  • You will work side by side with Copywriter to ensure content is informative, appealing and engaging and collaborate with Media & Creative teams, providing mutual feedback
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • You will communicate with clients on the managing campaigns and ensure a constructive interaction
  • Contracting & documentation of clients’ campaigns

Requirements and qualifications

  • Passionate about telling stories creatively on social media and growing audiences
  • Proven experience in Social Media management or a similar role
  • Experience of dealing with clients for a smooth communication and client satisfaction
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with minimal support, but raise hand when needed
  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more
  • Big ideas and “anything-is-possible” attitude
  • Fluent Romanian and Russian, both orally and written
  • English skills at upper-intermediate or higher level
