Full Stack Python Developer

Pentalog has an exciting new opportunity for a Full Stack Python Developer to join the development team of a global technology company based in Paris, specializing in personalized display advertising for e-commerce companies. The company's platform facilitates the management of display advertising campaigns, creating interactive banner ads tailored to individual customer preferences and online behavior. The advertising solution operates on a pay-per-click model.
 
The role focuses on using Python expertise and a strong understanding of Angular to build robust applications and APIs. You will play a key role in improving internal platforms, enhancing customer service and empowering teams through innovative technical solutions.
 
The team you will be part of will develop solutions, APIs, ETL pipelines and frameworks to provide business stakeholders with secure and fast access to our clients' data and the associated insights needed to effectively manage their portfolios.

Job requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in Python development;
• Proficiency in a major Python framework (Django, Flask, or similar);
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, specifically Angular;
• Experience with version control (GIT) and code review processes;
• Familiar with testing frameworks and test-driven design (e.g., Pytest);
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor peers;
• Strong communication skills in English.

Extra skills

• Familiarity with security best practices;
• Experience with data science, machine learning, or business analytics;
• Knowledge of alerting stacks (such as Prometheus);
• Experience with ETL pipelines;
• Business Analytics experience;
• Familiarity with Docker and Linux server environments;
• Experience with Gerrit (GIT code review process).
