The Opportunity

We're seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping our development and deployment infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers and operations teams to ensure seamless, scalable, and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines to expedite the software development lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Champion containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to package, deploy, and manage applications consistently.
• Establish and enforce best practices for security, scalability, and high availability of our systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and design solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
• Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Optimize and tune email database systems (e.g., configuration, indexing, query optimization) to ensure high performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in a DevOps role.
• Solid foundation in Linux systems administration.
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP a plus).

Desired Skills

• Experience in database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Agile development methodologies and a collaborative mindset.
