Billing Analyst
Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Billing Analyst to work with our International Partners.
The Billing Analyst will be responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the billing team, ensuring that bill runs are processed materially accurately and dealing with any issues and incidents impacting billing. He/ she will be in charge of ad-hoc support identifying improvements and fixes, whilst working with the wider organization to deliver solutions.
what you will be doing:
- Support with the daily processing of pre and post bill runs, including analysing any trends, fixing issues and reporting KPIs
- Proactively monitors billing and identifies areas to improve
- Review product catalogues and rate cards within the billing system, as well as customer contracts, to confirm correctness of charging and report anomalies
- Assist the Billing Manager and Billing Supervisor in ticket resolution
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Work with RA and Payments teams to manage customers who have late payments and require comms
- Provide support for Customer Services team members when queries arise, become a subject matter expert for the billing system and processes
- Provide support around any manual processes to identify gaps, working with Change teams to test new solutions
what we are looking for:
- University Degree
- Experience working with HOBS or other utilities billing system - an advantage but not necessary. Strong transferrable analytical abilities necessary
- Experience in Excel highly useful, including vlookups, sumifs, countifs, and the ability to manage data sets to identify errors
- A desire to innovate to deliver process improvement
- Confidence and ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Be comfortable to be working in changing environment
- Attention to detail with a desire to get things right
- Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment and must have willingness to pitch-in when asked to support other areas
