System architect

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, self-motivated system architect for work in an international company.

The successful candidate will focus on analysis of the current system (e-commerce web site), and will architect and extend it as the business grows, including developing new subsystems as well as expanding the current system with new components and modules.

The successful candidate must be experienced with multi-tier application design patterns, and development of server-side web application software for functionality across multiple browser platforms.

Requirements:

* Experience with OOP and enterprise level design patterns
* Experience with .NET enterprise application architecture
* Experience with architecture of B2B and B2C information systems
* Experience with Object Modeling with UML
* Large website experience with an understanding of scaling issues
* Experience with NHibernate, Entity Framework or equivalent ORM framework
* Experience with ASP.NET MVC 2 Framework
* Ability to translate user requirements into functional specifications as well as detailed program specifications
* Experience with distributed and multi-threaded systems
* Experience with Domain Driven Design is a strong plus
* Experience with MS SQL Server is a plus

Web technologies knowledge: HTML / JavaScript / Ajax / CSS
* Team Player - good communication skills with other team members
* Technical reading/writing English

Responsibilities:

* Analyze the current system and provide recommendations for restructuring and refactoring
* Define strategical architecture for the whole system
* Define subsystems and interfaces
* Drive major design decision of software architecture and functionality
* Integrate new technologies into the development process
* Define reusable parts of the software
* Implement best practices for software design
* Perform design review.
* Keep the documentation up to date
* Define list of necessary documentation for project
