About this opportunity

The Head of Field Services Organization Moldova will be fully accountable for the Field Service Assurance for the Managed Services contracts. In this role, you will work within the scope of the contract and effectively take responsibility for reactive, preventative & predictive maintenance of the Service, and for coordination of the subcontractors and contingent resources engaged in the maintenance and build areas of the Managed Services contracts. It is a customer-facing role and will also be a key interface towards the Ericsson delivery units to secure the Operational Performance.

• Assist Service owners in running local operation and maintenance activities
• Drive Competence and Career Management for the team
• Manage targets and objectives for the unit and drive performance management of the unit
• Follow up on performance of individuals, providing honest and transparent feedback, and conducting annual appraisal and impact assessment
• Create a productive work environment and ensure execution of work
• Resource and Workforce planning and recruitment
• Provide coaching support to team members
• Manage Pay, Rewards & Recognition for the team
• Be a leader in ethics and compliance and be responsible for consequence management
• Accountable for all financial transactions connected to own operational unit
• Lead and guide field operation team in operation and maintenance activities 24x7
• Responsible in handling trouble ticket through work order handling during fault incident for the assigned Network Services.
• Ensure team is dispatched timely (as per the SLA / severity matrix) to the field to handle fault
• Ensure network handled are well maintained through periodic Preventive Maintenance activities as per the contractual obligation
• Resolve customer concern and notification from internal and external customer on network operation matters and customer experience
• Coordinate contingent resources and subcontractors for field execution part of customer orders as per contract requirements
• Ensure the employees in the team and the external partners contracted are fully aware of the health, safety, and environmental related risks associated with activities being performed and that they have undergone the relevant EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) trainings applicable to perform the activities safely
• Ensure security is implemented and maintained in accordance with Security and Risk Management directives of the organization
• Drive alignment to the organizational guidelines, departmental processes & procedures and local legislation
• Manage unit financials (costs and related recovery)

You will bring

• Qualifications: Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering; any Certification related to Telecom shall be an added advantage
• Technical and/or functional skills: Good knowledge of service networks / service applications characteristics and capabilities; Service Performance indicators and their interpretation. Basic Knowledge of services and service applications implementation/integration processes along with Access, Core, Transport Networks.
• Years of experience: Minimum 5 years leading a team in Telecommunication field
• Required English level: medium level
