The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping our development and deployment infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers and operations teams to ensure seamless, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines to expedite the software development lifecycle.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Champion containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to package, deploy, and manage applications consistently.
Establish and enforce best practices for security, scalability, and high availability of our systems.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and design solutions to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps methodologies and tools.
Optimize and tune email database systems (e.g., configuration, indexing, query optimization) to ensure high performance and scalability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of proven experience in a DevOps role.
Solid foundation in Linux systems administration.
Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP a plus).
Desired Skills
Experience in database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is advantageous.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Agile development methodologies and a collaborative mindset.
