Endava is currently looking for a Deployment Engineer for IT Service Management Department.
The Managed Services team operates Endava's and client's infrastructure across different countries. We're diverse, optimistic, team-oriented engineers and managers working on a daily basis to deliver IT services for some of the world's leading financial institutions, telecommunications and media organizations. Our business model is based on in-depth industry expertise, a blended agile delivery approach, and access to one of the world's leading pools of IT engineering talent.
Role:
Support in Project Team (part of IT Service Management) makes software production fast and reliable for multiply Endava's development teams. This support team combines software deployment, software development tools support, networking and systems administration, expertise to help with building and running different scale client's system and live infrastructure fault-tolerant and effective. We hire technology experts who love being in the center of the action, and we routinely tackle complex software and systems issues.
Requirements:
- experience with defining and implementing best practices;
- strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, information acquisition skills;
- good verbal and written communication (English language is a must) with the ability to rapidly learn and explain technical concepts;
- initiative, leadership, and proven ability to work in a team and interact with different stakeholders;
- experience with scripting languages;
- experience with installing J2EE applications on application servers, WebSphere;
- experience with Continuous Integration Sytems such as: Cruise Control, Hudson, TFS etc
- proficient with administering and maintenance of wide range of OS (Windows or Linux);
- familiar with planning and management of the networking systems;
- proficient with IIS, Apache services;
- familiar with MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle;
Responsibilities:
- Build processes and tools to accelerate deployment process.
- Engage with product development teams as they follow estimations, design process; advising and assisting them in deployment their products into production and live environments.
- Configure mission critical systems that make software development reliable and responsive.
- Partner with software developer teams across the breadth of Endava's Romanian, Moldovan and UK teams to launch products to our clients.
