Cable Design Optimizer
During the Internship at DeRegt Cables in Rotterdam, worked on a project for optimization of inner cable design solutions in Java. The main scope of the project was to combine the necessary components proposed by the client into one single big cable by taking into account the specifications of each component and also drawing a suitable geometry of the circular cable so that it has the smallest possible diameter. -
Wifi CSI Room Occupancy Analysis
For my graduation project wrote a research paper about how accurate Wi-Fi transmission devices can be in terms of assessing room occupancy of a set of sequential rooms with people randomly assigned to them. In order to analyze the channel state information received from the transmitter, the data had to be transformed, restructured together with categorical variables so it can be fed to the ML model. After the data cleaning, the newly created dataset is fed to a Feedforward Neural Network that after training is supposed to assess by some of the samples from initial data which rooms are occupied. -
NVS on STM32 Microcontroller
During my graduation design project, worked on implementing a CNN using C++ on a microcontroller that was supposed to predict digits by processing the input from a Neuromorphic vision camera. Classification of digits using a CNN is not a hard task if performed using usual methods like TensorFlow on a regular computer with a normal camera. However, the usage of a STM32 microcontroller prevents the usage of such tools. The project for the microcontroller was written completely in C and the methods for the CNN were written completely from scratch since popular libraries use too much abstraction and techniques too advanced for the space that STM32F746 offers.
