System Engineer

Responsibilities:

Maintain, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers and network devices;
Install and test new software releases, apply system updates and security patches;
Provide technical support to users and customers;
Write and maintain IT system documentation;
Perform regular system backups, implement recovery procedures, and support disaster recovery planning.

Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in system and network administration (Linux and/or Windows);
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or similar);
Hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.);
Practical knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., Xen, VMware, Docker);
Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls;
Experience working with monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana);
High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking;
Strong motivation to learn and adopt new technologies;
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently;
Solid communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD);
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure);
Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., ELK, Wazuh);
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player;
Good English.
