Senior Atlassian Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Atlassian Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence across multiple teams.
• Develop custom workflows, automation rules, post-functions, event handlers, dashboards, and reports tailored to business needs.
• Manage Atlassian Marketplace apps, integrations, and API-based extensions.
• Optimize Jira performance, ensure stability, and lead data migration or consolidation projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Jira configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior admins and cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience administering and developing in Jira/Atlassian ecosystems.
• Experience with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, REST APIs, and Groovy or Python scripting.
• Strong fluency with Jira workflow design, custom field management, permission schemes, and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrations (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.).
• Nice to have: Atlassian certifications, experience with Confluence architecture and knowledge-base design, cloud-to-cloud or Server/Data Center to Cloud migration experience.
