We’re Hiring: Safety Specialist
Location: Remote or Chișinău office
Company: One Step Group – U.S. based trucking company
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 01:00 AM

About Us:
One Step Group is a fast-growing transportation company operating in the U.S. market. With a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and operational safety, we are expanding our Safety Department and looking for a motivated Safety Specialist to join our team.

What You’ll Do:
Manage driver pre-employment process and safety onboarding
Monitor ELDs, IFTA, FMCSA compliance & DOT regulations
Handle claims, DataQ disputes, accidents, and violations
Keep internal systems (TMSOne) updated: drivers, units, permits
Schedule random drug tests, register trucks/trailers, and manage insurance
Assist with roadside inspections, safety documentation, and equipment tracking
Coordinate permits (NY, KY, OR, NM) and handle Highway Use Tax / IFTA filings
Collaborate with HR & Dispatch to maintain high safety standards

What We Expect:
1+ year experience in transportation/logistics/safety
Strong knowledge of DOT / FMCSA / ELD systems
Advanced Excel + Google Workspace skills
English, Romanian and Russian (spoken & written)
Attention to detail, proactivity, and ability to work independently
