Lead Full Stack Engineer (Node.js + React)

The Role

You’ll build and scale production‑grade web applications & software products owning features end‑to‑end across a modern React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js microservices backend. You will build modern SaaS & AI products to serve global customers. You will become an expert in using GenAI in SDLC (Cursor, Codex, MCP, Claude)

What you’ll do

• Ship core product features across React, TypeScript, Node.js, and MySQL while prioritizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Create reusable UI and service components and contribute to shared libraries.
• Design & evolve microservices, including Kafka‑based event streaming and asynchronous workflows.
• Tune performance using caching (e.g., Redis), advanced SQL, database optimization, and observability/monitoring.
• Raise the engineering bar: perform code reviews, enforce standards, and drive best practices.
• Lead delivery for complex initiatives from design to production, collaborating tightly with Product & QA in Agile sprints.
• Mentor engineers; document systems, APIs, and workflows for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Scope & estimate: discovery, architecture options, and delivery plans.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s in CS (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of professional full‑stack experience with strong depth in Node & React. Typescript is ideal.
• Experience architecting complex software solutions & modernization
• Track record building complex React apps using modern patterns (Hooks, modular CSS, ES6+).
• Hands‑on with microservices and Kafka event streaming.
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted dev tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar) responsibly for productivity and quality.
• Solid Git/GitHub workflows; Agile team experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: mentoring, reviews, and delivering critical projects.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, CSS Modules, ES6+, React Hooks
• Database: MySQL, advanced SQL, performance tuning
• Event‑Driven: Kafka (streaming, event sourcing, async orchestration)
• Testing: Jest (unit & integration)
• Cloud (AWS): EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SQS/SNS
