Junior DevOps Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid Linux CLI knowledge (Ubuntu)
• Understanding of Kubernetes basics (deployments, services, namespaces, configmaps, secrets)
• Familiarity with Helm
• Basic SQL
• Basic Git skills (branches, merges, resolving conflicts)
• Experience with CI/CD concepts in GitLab or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls)

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Understanding of Terraform or Ansible
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
• Awareness of Vault or other secrets management tools

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with managing Kubernetes clusters, including deploying services, applying updates, and monitoring workloads
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines in both GitLab and GitHub Actions
• Apply changes to Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts following documentation
• Monitor infrastructure health via Prometheus, Grafana, and logging systems
• Perform routine operational tasks such as SSL certificate updates, DNS changes, and secret rotations
• Investigate alerts and basic incidents, escalating when needed
