Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing retail company undergoing significant operational expansion across Romania. As part of this rapid growth, we are recruiting a senior leader to take on a newly created strategic role and lead the transformation of the company’s entire logistics function.

HEAD OF LOGISTICS EXCELLENCE | ROMANIA | EXPANDING RETAIL BUSINESS
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of the end-to-end internal logistics operations: inbound, warehousing, picking (including Pick by Line), packaging, and last-mile delivery to stores.
- Leadership and development of a large operational team (150+ people across warehouse and transportation).
- Optimization of warehouse layout, delivery routes, and internal processes based on Lean Logistics and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Development and implementation of a robust KPI system, covering both operational and financial performance indicators.
- Design of performance-driven incentive schemes aligned with logistics objectives and operational efficiency.
- Full responsibility for the logistics budget, with focus on cost control (delivery costs, processing costs per unit).
- Close collaboration with Supply Chain, Commercial, IT, and Business Development teams.
- Active involvement in digital transformation projects and WMS implementation across the network.
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in senior logistics leadership roles such as Head of Logistics, Logistics Director, or Warehouse Director.
- Proven track record in managing large teams (50+ people) within complex logistics environments.
- Deep knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Strong expertise in defining and managing logistics KPIs and driving operational improvements.
- Solid working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems; experience with data reporting tools (Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement change in a growing organization.
- Fluent in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).
