Business Development Assistant - Government Sector
At DevelopmentAid, we are a global platform that connects professionals in the international development sector. For over 15 years, we have supported changemakers by providing access to projects, job opportunities, data, and expert insights. With offices in Chisinau and Tbilisi, we are expanding our team and seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join us.
Your Role:
Are you curious, tech-savvy, and excited about making international connections? As our Business Development Assistant – Government Sector, you will be part of the engine that helps us grow relationships with government bodies, development agencies, and public institutions across the world.
You will work side-by-side with the Department Director, helping turn leads into long-term partnerships that support global development.
What You Will Do
- Research and find new government contacts (ministries, government agencies, units, etc.);
- Help schedule meetings online and during international field visits;
- Keep track of leads and contacts in our CRM system;
- Manage user profiles and data (create, update, deactivate);
- Coordinate the Director’s calendar and communications;
- Register new entities in our system and support onboarding;
- Create access rights, alerts, and special packages for new clients;
- Monitor incomplete registrations and follow up;
- Stay informed on global development policies and trends.
What We Are Looking For
Must-haves:
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
- Confident using MS Office, Outlook, and web tools;
- Comfortable navigating databases and internet research;
- Organized and good at time management;
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn;
- Open-minded with a global perspective.
Bonus points:
- Academic or professional background in international development, public administration, or a related field;
- Interested and experienced in international development or public policy.
