Web/java UI developer

ICS has an immediate need for a Web/Java UI Developer. This person will be responsible for UI development of a large project management application. You will be working closely with a UI designer / human factors team to develop rapid iterative prototypes as well as final UI code, interfaced with Java code developed by a team of back-end developers.
Qualifications:
6+ years of professional technology related experience
4+ years experience in application/web design and development
2+ years experience developing user interfaces based on specifications provided by UI designers and/or human factors teams, using an iterative development process
Strongly motivated to build impeccable, high-quality user interfaces
Substantial experience with Java, Javascript, HTML and CSS, including significant understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Experience dealing with cross-browser compatibility issues
Substantial experience using Tapestry and Ajax toolkits (preferably jQuery)
Ability to drive and review API's for back-end functionality
Strong appreciation and experience with reusability, test-driven design, and agile development
Excellent command of written English, including proven ability to write clear specifications and documentation, and to understand complex specifications. Reasonable ability to speak and understand spoken English
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Familiarity with all aspects of the software development process
Experience with some versioning control software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and have a proven ability to work well in teams
Able to learn quickly and willing to share knowledge
Flexible, enjoying a fast-changing, unpredictable environment
