web/graphic developer

Tacit Knowledge LLC, an American software consultancy with offices in San Francisco and New York, is looking for a web/graphic developer to join its team in Chisinau, Moldova. This web production professional will be responsible for creating client-side code for large database-driven, retail and internet community web sites. This position requires the following from interested candidates:
* Be able to hand code HTML, CSS to implement pixel-perfect designs that work in all major browsers, while creating clean and maintainable HTML
* Be up to date on the latest standards
* Ability to code basic Javascript, and familiarity with AJAX
* Knowledge of XML/XSL and SQL is a plus
* Be familiar with JSP and with managing mixed HTML/JSP content
* Have some experience with using a version control system
* Be intimately familiar with commercial web site production and release processes and have experience in collaborating within a project team A potential candidate must be able to demonstrate good production design skills such as image optimization, the ability to know where CSS would be a better option than using an image, and ability to work well with a lead designer.
You must have an excellent working knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator & Adobe ImageReady for basic graphic needs. You must be able to articulate ideas and design strategies in written, verbal and graphical forms in English.
