Temporary program coordinator

International Research & Exchanges Board in Moldova (IREX/Moldova) is looking for candidates to fill the temporary 5 months position of Program Coordinator.
The Program Coordinator responsibilities include assistance to Country Director in educational programs managing, coordination of alumni activities, maintaining databases.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administer the day to-day operations of Muskie, Global UGRAD, and YCED programs;
- Assist in the administration of alumni grants programs;
- Conduct recruitment for programs through the country;
- Provide group and individual presentations to potential applicants;
- Consult applicants on program requirements;
- Assist in selecting program participants;
- Coordinate alumni activities;
- Organize and assist in conducting different scale events (seminars, trainings, round-tables, presentations, pre-departure orientations, conferences);
- Maintain alumni databases;
- Post news on the IREX/Moldova website;
- Report to IREX/ Moldova Country Director;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- University degree;
- Fluency (written and oral) in English, Romanian, and Russian required;
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet required; PowerPoint, Access);
- Good communication skills (written and oral), including ability to draft a variety of reports and to articulate ideas in a clear, concise style;
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines;
- Accurate and attentive to details, ability to work with databases;
- Energetic and optimistic approach, ability to work in a team;
- Excellent strong intercultural and interpersonal skills.
