Structural Engineer

We're looking for a Structural Engineer to become part of our dynamic and friendly team.

Responsibilities:

Designing and calculating steel structures (main load-bearing structures, mezzanine floors, stairs, platforms, etc.)
Assessing structural safety, stability, and detailing according to Eurocodes and other relevant standards
Providing input for working and production drawings
Reviewing and assessing calculations and designs from colleagues or external parties
Advising project teams on structural decisions and optimizations
Preparing reports, structural documentation, and delivery files
Identifying bottlenecks and providing solutions within the design process
Coordinating with engineering, project management, and production to ensure feasibility
Attending project meetings, construction meetings, and client visits when necessary
Ensuring proper archiving of calculations and documents
Staying up to date with developments in the field

Skills:

Experience with structural calculation and design software such as SCIA Engineer, IDEA, Tekla, or similar
Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in English (German is a plus)
Bachelor’s or Master’s level of education, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of standards, regulations, and procedures in steel construction
