Software tester analyst

Pentalog Chisinau continues to expand its development team through various projects. An example is the collaboration with one international company in the perfumery industry. With a presence for over 200 years in the market their success is built on a constant research and innovation.
In order to extend this team, we are looking for a Software Tester Analyst with minimum of 2 years experience in manual and automated testing.
Your profile:
Along with the Project Manager, Business Analyst and a QA Team, you will be the sponsor of the quality of applications that will be developed. You will provide quality software testing services in line with best practice procedure. We are ideally looking for a self-motivated and committed individual with experience in testing IT Systems and Agile methodologies. You have excellent communication skills and are able to establish working relation with immediate staff and other staff in the business. The ability to review, develop and implement systems is essential.
Your main responsibilities and duties will involve:
- Participating in analyzing the specifications and estimating the workload;
- Understanding of applications functionalities;
- Creating Test Cases;
- Executing test scripts within testing tool in line with agreed execution plan;
- Bug-tracking;
- Optimization proposals in order to achieve a maximum performance and ergonomics;
- Keep close contact with the development teams throughout the full defect life cycle to ensure that all issues are reported;
- Reporting test progress throughout execution.
Requirements:
- Understanding the functional specifications of the product life cycle of an IT project;
- Business analyze capabilities;
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools;
- Experience in testing – at least 2 years;
- Experience in using the bugs management tools (bug trackers);
- English – advanced level: mandatory;
- Communicative person, flexible, dynamic and desire for knowledge.
