COMTEK International, a US consulting company with over 10 years experience in Information Technologies, is looking for: Software Test Engineer (for Embedded Tools Development)

Location: Bucharest, Romania
Compensation: based upon communication skills and experience from $3000 to $4000 per month (including per Diem) plus paid hotel/apartment plus all relocation expenses.
Required Experience: at least 3 years
English – required.

Job Description:
The engineer will participate in development of CodeWarrior Embedded Debugger to support various Freescale processors and architectures. The job involves testing and maintenance of the various modules and interaction with technical support; developing, implementing and executing test plans and procedures.

Requirements:

• University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics;
• Experience in C - min. 1 year;
• Experience in a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl;
• Previous experience in development of automated test software;
• Team spirit, able to cooperate and work under pressure;
• Good English command.


The following skills would bring an advantage:

• Experience in C++ and/or Java;
• Knowledge of Embedded Systems;
• Knowledge of CodeWarrior and/or Eclipse platform;
• Familiar with multiple platforms (Windows, Unix);
• Understanding of how a compiler/debugger/build system works;
• Experience in System Integration Test;
• Knowledge of software quality, software development process;
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as CVS, and configuration management.
