Software Quality Engineer I (Automation)

Job Description
The candidate is a self-motivated person who is passionate about QA. Wants to be part of a team supporting the testing effort for web-based and data warehouse development projects. Flexibility to work on multiple tasks on request and be able to put extra-effort when it’s necessarily. Is able to quickly gasp new information both technical and business process. Candidate will be focused on QA/Testing of Enterprise Web Application allowing processing and analyze of HealthCare EDI Data. The work will include creation of Test Cases, automated test cases and performing manual and automated tests.

Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or Related discipline with average university mark >8.5
Be able to communicate well in English: Read/Write/Speak
Has experience with a programming language and SQL (university projects accepted)
Willing to work hard and be a good team player
Curious and eager to learn new things

Preferred candidates will have
Web Applications QA/Testing experience
EDI knowledge
Experience with Java language
Experience with Automated and Unit tests for both Java and DB (JUnit, DBUnit)
Experience with Web technologies: HTML, JSP, JS, XML, etc.
Good communication skills and ability to create documentation for testing (test Cases, test Plans)

Flexibility to work on multiple tasks on request and be able to put extra-effort when it’s necessarily. Is able to quickly gasp new information both technical and business process. Candidate will be focused on Automated Testing of Enterprise Java based Web Application used for HealthCare data processing and analysis. The work will include creation of Automated Test Cases, performing automated testing: performance testing, stress-testing, scalability tests.

Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or Related discipline with average university mark >8
Be able to communicate in English: Read/Write/Speak
Has strong experience with Java (University projects accepted)
Knows SQL well. RDBMS: MSSQL or Oracle
Willing to work hard and be a good team player
Experience with Web technologies: HTML, JSP, JS, XML, AJAX
Knows HTTP

Preferred candidates will have
