SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

Job Description:
Provide architectural and technical design guidance in projects.
Review projects from technical perspective and provide solutions to improve quality and performance.
Research and recommend the implementation of new technology or technical tools to improve system performance, stability, development process.
Provide mentoring and guidance for the more junior staff.
Lead or offer support in presales activities.

Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills both oral and written.
2+ years’ experience in leading development teams.
Excellent technical knowledge of .Net or Java technologies.
5+ years of experience in developing .Net or Java applications.
2+ years of experience in analysing requirements and detail design of the solution.
Expert knowledge of object oriented programming.
Excellent knowledge of SOA principles, architecture patterns, architecture and development frameworks.
Very good analytical, synthesis, estimation skills, organized mind and attention to detail.
Experience in working directly with customers and development teams.
Excellent knowledge of SDLC and all the associated artefacts for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to generate and develop systems architecture documentation and standards.
Fluent in English and Romanian languages (both written & oral).

Desirable Skills:
Good knowledge of products/solutions/platforms/servers of major software vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, SUN, IBM, etc.).
Proficient in two or more business areas: banking, finance, media, communications, digital media, business intelligence, mobiles, etc.
Knowledge of CMS, DMS or CRM products (ex. MS SharePoint, Sitecore, MS CRM).
Experience in presales activities and customer relationships.
Familiarity with source control, build processes, and continuous delivery.
