Company Overview: International retail company with over 27 stores located in Moldova.

Chief Accountant (fixed term with the option to become Finance Controller)

Position overview: this is a fix term position covering the maternity leave. After the fixed term, the Chief Accountant position will grow the Finance Controller for the group. This position is directly subordinated to Chief Accountant of the group, in Bucharest, Romania and the CEO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You will be responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual budget execution reports
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
• Ensuring appropriate financial control in compliance with legislation
• Supervision of day to day operation of the accounting
• Recording, classifying, summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Professional chief accountant with over 3 years of experience, preferably in warehouse or retail segment
• Bachelor Degree or higher education in Accounting or Finance
• Proven success in budgeting, reporting, working experience having a warehouse of goods
• English, Romanian, Russian- advanced
• Excellent computer skills and communication skills, ERP: Navision desirable, IRFS knowledge
• Mandatory, driving experience, B category
