SHAREPOINT ANALYST PROGRAMMER

The SharePoint analyst programmer will be responsible for developing high quality, scalable and extendable solutions on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform.

The programmer will be involved during all phases of the system development life cycle, either participating or leading during analysis, development, testing and deployment. The candidate should be able to solve and recommend solutions to the customer based on a solid understanding of the Microsoft SharePoint platform features and functions.

The person will be required to work with other solution or system teams to ensure successful cross system integration. Therefore the person should be flexible and be able to adapt and understand new technologies with ease.

The candidate should also show excellent analytical skills with the ability to work in teams, be deadline driven and have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices
- Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions
- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows
- Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform
- Interact with the customer communicating changes and solutions in a timely manner
- Work alongside other system development teams
- Taking initiative and being pro-active regarding issues and changes rather than being reactive
- Manage changes, coordinating and assigning tasks to other developers if required

Requirements:
- BS in Computer science or equivalent degree or work experience
- 3 + years of development experience with the .NET framework (C#) and associated technologies
- 3 + years of experience of using and developing for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and/or 2010 environments
- 3 + years of experience of design, development and testing with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
- 3 + years of experience in Visual Studio 2008/2010
- 3 + years of experience with Web Services (WCF)
- Strong analytical skills and good problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in documenting requirements and technical specifications are a benefit
