Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead both manual and
automated testing efforts across our product line. This role plays a critical part in delivering
reliable, secure, and user-friendly software for our global medical device platform.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and reusable test cases.
Implement and manage automated testing frameworks.
Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams.
Track and document issues clearly with reproducible steps.
Participate in shift-left testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, record, and track bugs, and verify fixes.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to improve QA processes.
Drive continuous improvements in QA tools, processes, and culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in QA automation.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG, etc.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI), and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling).
Strong SQL skills for data validation.
Familiarity with security and compliance testing (e.g., OWASP, GDPR).
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Comfortable working overlapping hours with Pakistan and US-based teams.
