We are currently starting a new project with our partner IBM in Brno, Czech Republic. We are looking for high level of Oracle specialists open to professional challenges.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oracle Database Administrator works in support handling a wide range of technical issues from various customers in several countries. The job is in a delivery environment where time constraints are critical and contractual service levels must be met. His / Her responsibilities are:

• Install, operate and maintain complex centralized and distributed computer systems in a multi-vendor environment
• Batch management, disk space administration, performance tuning
• Backup/Restore, systems tuning, database backup/restore
• Tivoli TSM installation and upgrade
• Restore, system tuning, database backup/restore
• Oracle and DB2 database installation, administration and support.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years in large production or complex environment
• Administering ORACLE servers
• Mandatory OCA
• OCP / OCM could be a serious advantage
• Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX, SUN, AIX, Linux), IP Services
• RMAN skills.
• Backup: Tivoli, SAN, Regatta
• Basic experience in systems and network monitoring
• Knowledge of Tivoli SW (DM, TEC, SWD, TSM, etc.)




OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum advanced level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of French / Italian could be an advantage
• Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
• Analytical skills
• Communicative and able to work in a team
• Technical University degree
• IT certificates
• Able to work in a multi cultural environment
• Reliable, flexible & motivated person
