Senior Network Engineer

The Company:
An international company operating in the wholesale telecommunication market. The company avails of bilateral interconnection contracts with the most important worldwide telephone operators.

Job responsibilities:
•Monitoring activities for the Network Operation Centre
•Ticketing activities for the Network Operation Centre to support the activities of the mother company and interconected clients.
•Managing and overseeing all aspects of network engineering
•Responsible for network capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Requirements:
•3+ years professional experience
•Bachelor or Master degree in IT/ Telecommunication
•Linux basic administration
•Networking
•TCP/IP and VoIP protocols (SIP/H.323)
•Wireshark
•Nagios
•At least one programming language ( C/C++, PHP, Java, Ruby, Python)
•PHP/ MySQL (preferred)
•Scripting languages - bash, Perl, python (preferred)
•English oral and written , Italian – basic (preferred)
