JOB DESCRIPTION

HP-UX Administrator is responsible to perform services to maintain and upgrade complex centralized activities and distributed servers systems in a multi-vendor operating environment. He / She is responsible also for the day to day technical support, handling a wide range of technical issues from various customers in several countries. The job is in a delivery environment where time constraints are critical and contractual service levels must be met. Provide on-call services when required.


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in large production or complex environment
• HP-UX configuration & administration
• Clusters: Service Guard
• Backup: HP Storage
• Performance monitoring & analysis, network interfaces
• Backup and Recovery strategies
• Server installation and server configuration.
• Problem resolution. Change implementation.
• Knowledge of Tivoli SW (DM, TEC, SWD, TSM)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum advanced level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of French / Italian could be an advantage
• Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
• Analytical skills
• Communicative and able to work in a team
• Technical University degree
• IT certificates
• Able to work in a multi cultural environment
• Reliable, flexible & motivated person
