Senior front-End developer

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Responsive theming
• Advanced command of CSS/HTML
• Strong familiarity and knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues and solutions
• Advanced understanding of web standards and best practices
• Working knowledge and capabilities using Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
• Working knowledge of PHP, ASP and JSP is a plus
• Strong knowledge of standards and best practices around image specifications and audio/visual formats
• Experience using source control systems like SVN and Git
• Experience working with databases and SQL a plus
• Experience with mobile development a plus but not required
• Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Creative input and constructive imagination


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Ability to create perfectly pixel cross-platform theming if necessary
• Working with frameworks like Twitter Bootstrap
• Provide sustainable theming for already running projects
• Create solid and understandable front-end architectures
• Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end templates with back-end functionality
• Communicate these solutions to other members of the team both verbally and in written documentation.
• Performs code-reviews and suggest best practices
• Quickly develop functional prototypes/models where useful
• Communicate clearly and succinctly with internal and client stakeholders as required
• Contribute to building company best practices knowledge base
• Maintain cutting knowledge of current and emerging technologies
