Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with strong Angular experience to join the client’s product development team. You’ll be working on a modern, scalable web platform that supports field service professionals in managing their entire workflow from a single interface.
Your first major assignment will be to lead the migration of the existing Angular application from version 16 to version 20, ensuring a smooth transition and performance improvements across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the migration from Angular v16 to v20, addressing compatibility, performance, and testing.
- Build and maintain intuitive, responsive user interfaces for scheduling, invoicing, communication, and team management modules.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews.
- Optimize application performance and maintain cross-browser compatibility.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development preferably with Angular (v12+).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular CLI.
- Solid understanding of Angular component lifecycle, routing, forms, and state management (e.g., NgRx).
- Experience with HTML5, SCSS/CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Angular version upgrades or migrations.
- Familiarity with Field Service Management platforms or similar operational tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
