We are currently starting a new project with our partner IBM in Brno, Czech Republic. We are looking for high level of AIX specialists open to new professional challenges.

JOB DESCRIPTION

AIX Senior Administrator is responsible to perform services to maintain and upgrade complex centralized activities and distributed servers systems in a multi-vendor operating environment. He/ She is also responsible for the day to day technical support, handling a wide range of technical issues from various customers in several countries. The job is in a delivery environment where time constraints are critical and contractual service levels must be met. Provide on-call services when required.


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in large production or complex environment
• AIX 4.x or 5.x or Linux administration experience
• Performing, monitoring & analysing
• Clusters: configuration and administration
• Backup and recovery: Tivoli SW (DM, TEC, SWD, TSM)
• Network interfaces
• Aix/ pSeries/SP skills
• Understanding of HACMP

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum advanced level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of French / Italian could be an advantage
• Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
• Analytical skills
• Communicative and able to work in a team
• Technical University degree
• IT certificates
• Able to work in a multi cultural environment
• Reliable, flexible & motivated person
