SAP EWM Consultant

Context
We are seeking a SAP EWM S/4HANA consultant to ensure the consistency of end-to-end solution integration. This role involves collaborating with IT teams throughout the implementation and deployment phases of the S/4HANA Finance project. The primary objective is to gain expertise in the solution and oversee its successful implementation.

Responsibilities

Assist in business workshops during the design of the future Core Design to ensure seamless end-to-end integration of the S/4HANA Finance solution.
Support EWM configuration adjustments based on business workshop outcomes.
Manage relationships with stakeholders and development teams.
Draft detailed specification documents in English.
Provide MVP startup support.
Identify post-MVP releases in collaboration with the IT teams and define implementation methods to minimize operational impacts on the existing information system.
Contribute to integration, testing, and migration strategy.
Leverage digital expertise to enhance proposed solutions, ensuring best practices and alignment with market standards.
Offer recommendations for potential improvements to the product backlog.
Support the Product Owner in prioritizing the Product Backlog.
Suggest prioritization adjustments based on perceived business value.
Actively participate in the Product Backlog lifecycle.
Ensure the Product Backlog remains visible, transparent, and well-documented for all stakeholders.
Define and detail each selected feature as a User Story, ensuring it is small enough to be implemented within a sprint and includes clear acceptance criteria.
Understand and prioritize Technical Stories and Defect Stories as suggested by the team.
Clarify any User Story upon request from the Development Team during a sprint.
Participate in and contribute to Agile events with the team.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:

Strong business analysis and consultancy expertise.
Ability to model business flows in the new IS system based on S/4HANA.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse management processes and the EWM module.
Define and manage supply chain and procurement domain interfaces.
Solid understanding of MM, SD, and FI integration.
Hands-on experience configuring EWM in the S/4HANA system.
Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Fluency in English; French is a plus.
Experience working on innovative projects with strong business involvement.
Team-oriented mindset with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
Ability to synthesize information and present clear insights.
Comfortable sharing and transferring knowledge to agile teams and stakeholders.

Profile

Over five years of experience in large-scale transformation projects and at least two years of experience in Agile projects
Proven track record in ERP S/4HANA implementation or deployment, specifically with the Extended Warehouse Management module.
Strong understanding of the Supply Chain Management domain in S/4HANA.
