RGN Dispatcher

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced RGN Dispatcher to join our team and take the lead in coordinating heavy haul shipments with precision, professionalism, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate shipments involving Removable Gooseneck (RGN) trailers, including oversize and overweight loads.
- Locate and secure high-paying loads through load boards, brokers, and industry contacts.
- Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize load profitability and maintain long-term broker relationships.
- Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and customer requirements.
- Handle all permitting needs and ensure correct route planning for heavy and oversize loads.
- Maintain clear, continuous communication with drivers to provide detailed instructions and real-time support.
- Optimize routes and driver schedules to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Resolve unforeseen issues, delays, or last-minute changes with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brokers, drivers, and clients.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dispatcher in the trucking industry, preferably with RGN or heavy haul experience.
- Solid understanding of oversize/overweight regulations, permitting processes, and route planning.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and load boards like DAT, Truckstop, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
- English proficiency (at least B1 level) for effective communication.
- Detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset, able to stay calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations related to heavy haul operations.
