Regional Senior Finance Officer

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (http://www.bfconsulting.org/), specializing in microfinance development and consulting, offers a challenging job opportunity for a Regional Senior Finance Officer.
Duty station: Chisinau
Job responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate budgeting and accounting over operations in up to 10 countries of operation
• Ensure compliance with norms and procedures related to accounting and procurement
• Maintain and develop financial reporting tools
• Plan and manage liquidity
• Develop and implement a plan for the upgrade of current accounting software solution
• Supervise billing process and respond to requests from clients with regard to invoices
• Update accounting policies and procedures and provide training to accounting staff

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Fluency in English and Russian, other languages would be an advantage
• Solid knowledge of accounting software applications
• Sound managerial and excellent communication skills
• Excellent writing and business communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure
• Ability to learn fast, self-confident, a team player
• High sense of responsibility
