Quality assurance engineer

Our Client is looking for a competent and experienced individual to take up Quality Assurance engineer role in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
The position will allow the candidate to test software applications to address challenging real-world business and
industrial problems.

Responsibilities:
Perform software testing in accordance with organizational standards
Participate in quality assurance activities within projects
Articulate business requirements, user stories
Create acceptance criteria and utilizes them as a basis for validation of solutions
Interpret architectural diagrams
Read and understand design specifications
Define GUI Automation testing and Performance testing approach,create architecture
and choose the tools that will be used
Preparation/review of test plans, according to the organization’s Test Strategy
Conduct planning, estimating and scheduling activities
Identify Risks and impediment associated with the product development or project delivery and ensure adequate resolution
Enforce all testing processes as per defined company standards
Responsible for client communication
Work closely with the Programming team to ensure quality of the software development
Participate in Requirements and Design review and product walkthrough
Participate in planning, estimating and scheduling activities
Perform Functional and Non-functional testing in accordance with Test Plan
Report defects in concordance with company standards
Implement and execute automation and performance testing
Understand and embrace the Agile software development framework

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science of Information Technology or equivalent
Knowledge of SQL, JUnit, OOP, understanding of data structures and basic algorithms
Positive work attitude
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Good technical outcomes
Permanently working in the direction of professional improvement and constantlearning
Reliable and punctual
Sense of initiative
