Qml/javascript software developer

Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) offers software products and services to help clients build mobile, desktop and embedded applications. We design and build user interfaces for many industrial and commercial devices, such as navigation systems and tablet applications, using a variety of technologies. ICS is the worldwide leading independent expert in Qt application development.

ICS is looking for QML/Javascript developers to assist with the creation of many different types of applications. You will work on exciting new platforms including tablets, smartphones, IPTV set-top boxes, automobile infotainment systems and a wide variety of embedded devices.

Currently we have positions in the Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Ottawa areas but will consider applicants who would work remotely from other locations.

You have:
3+ years Javascript experience
Ajax, DHTML, CSS, XML experience
GUI experience is essential
Solid understanding of Object-oriented design and programming principles
Understanding of C++ and Qt to be able to export Qt objects to the QML engine is beneficial
C and object-oriented programming skills and/or GUI experience are also helpful
Incredible coding skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Bachelor‘s degree or equivalent
Incredible insight into all the aspects of software development, including client/server programming
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

You will:
Design, develop, code, test, document, and support the Qt software application
Act as a Qt user interface expert for ICS
Due to the nature of Qt, development happens on several operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Macintosh), and the developer needs to be familiar with at least two of them, and able to work on the remaining ones
Participate in customer meetings
