QA Manual Engineer

Responsibilities:

Runs manual API tests using Postman, based on specs obtained during development.
Runs manual application-level (UI) tests (mobile, web app).
Runs automated API tests using Postman automation (or JMeter?).
Generate reports.
Load Tests: summarize endpoint metrics
Machine-level metrics: CPU, memory, storage, IO-queue depth
App-level metrics: throughput, latency, error rate, queue lag
Works with developers and stakeholders to understand what needs to be tested, and what constitutes a success or failure.
Ask engineers to report any additional metrics that are required.
Manages the test plans.
Manages external testing services.
Working with cloud services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications
Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
