Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
1.General supervision of all contracted work on site: programming and scheduling of work,
estimation of materials and maintenance of continuous workflow.
2.Preparing recommendations to the CM/ PM regarding subcontracts/ joint venture works to
institute a system of reporting on the progress of such works.
3.Reporting to management on all aspects of site work: material shortage, labor unrest, and
transfer of personnel/ equipment to other areas.
4.Preparation of Program of Works in liaison with Project Manager.
5.Preparation of Site Mobilization Scheme and general site requirements.
6.Preparation of Materials requisitions for the site and counter-signs the materials requisitions
prepared by the site engineer.
7.Preparing a take-off for all quantities and specifies materials for the project and prepares
Schedule of Materials forms.
8.Preparation of bi-weekly and/or Monthly reports for the site highlighting requirements of
plant, material, labor and possible delays, etc.
9.Supervision of general site-progress and directing site engineers to execute the work in the
scheme required by management.
10.Monitoring site-progress against Program and preparing reports to Project Manager.
11.Coordinating works of Subcontractors and preparing correspondence with all concerned
parties/consultants. Subcontractors, suppliers, clients, etc.
12.Checking the materials received on site to be in compliance with requirements.
13.Checking setting out of works executed by Foreman and Site Engineer.
14.Authority to assume the duties of P.M. if instructed.
15.Efficient distribution of material and utilization of manpower.
16.Regularly carrying-out work measurement and preparing valuations where necessary.
17.Ensuring the safety of personnel and company assets.
18.Coordinating activities with stores, purchasing department, personnel and engineering
services.
19.To ensure all company procedures are being applied: working hours, material requisitioning
and returns, transfer of PMV, security guards, wages procedures, holidays and leave.
Experience on a similar position: 10 Years experience in building construction
