Programmer

Antex International, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and the international subsidiary FIS SpA a multi-divisional company with 40 years of operations in Italy has expanded it EMEA operations to include a process facility in Chisinau, Moldova. Antex FIS clients for business process outsourcing services include many of the world's leading Fortune 500 multinational corporations.

As an Antex International programmer, you will perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Refine data and format final product.
- Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
- Test and develop programming modifications.
- Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
- Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
- Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
- Write and maintain programming documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
- Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

What you need:
- 1+ years of professional (post graduate) software development experience
- Experrience of developing with ASP.Net (C# or VB.Net)
- Experience with Webservices (ideal but not mandatory)
- Solid understanding Object Oriented concepts
- A solid understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL queries
- Superb communication skills are a must as we are looking for someone who can interact with marketing, web/print designers and coordinate with other developers on our team as you translate prototypes, screen shots or a quick sketch into action.
- A BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

Salary will be based on experience and highly competitive. Position will require regular travel to Geneva, Switzerland for meetings with senior management.
