About the Role

What You'll Do:

Development & Architecture
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable software solutions
- Participate in architectural discussions and design sessions
- Implement best practices and coding standards
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements

Quality & Performance
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
- Write unit tests and integration tests
- Participate in performance tuning and optimisation

Innovation & Technology
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
- Participate in code refactoring and technical debt reduction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework
- Proficiency in RESTAPI development
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Familiarity with basic Linux commands
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to use AI tools for code generation and optimisation
- Valid passport and openness to international travel
- Native romanian

Nice to Have
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, including complex queries and optimisation's
- Knowledge of accessibility standards
- Experience with testing frameworks
