PHP developer

Position Description:

- Analyze requirements for new features, estimate complexity and come up with solutions;
- Peer code reviewing;
- Covering legacy and new code with Unit, Functional and Acceptance Tests (ex: Codeception testing framework);
- Eliminating "technical debt" by refactoring legacy code;
- Identification of "code smells".

Requirement for the Applicant:

- Strong grounding in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design best practices (design patterns, SOLID principles);
- Understanding and applying "Clean code" practices;
- Familiarity with TDD and BDD programming styles;
- Strong grounding in working with:
MVC frameworks - Laravel or something similar
ORM libraries – Doctrine
Template engine – Twig
Databases - SQL (NoSQL is a plus)
- Git experience and associated workflows
- Understanding of RESTful web services principles.
