The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is a critical role within the partner ecosystem at Microsoft. The PAM is growing the Solutions + Retail business produced through relationship excellence and sales excellence practices where the partner views the PAM as trusted advisor by deep partner understanding, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes.

The PAM role focuses on the following key responsibilities:

- Responsible for driving and executing business strategy and programs across segments
- Develop and manage to joint partner business plan with 100% of portfolio, plans to focus on joint sales goals, marketing goals, technical and sales readiness commitments, MSPP competency certification and/or renewal, and Conditions of Satisfaction (COS)
- Knowledgeable across a variety of disciplines and is responsible for communicating and localizing Microsoft’s SMS&P strategy in the local market
- Drive Revenue and Sales goals through effective management of Partner Engagement, Business Development, Internal collaboration and Marketing strategies.
- Solid understanding of enterprise or customer purchasing behaviors as well as other vendors within the Microsoft ecosystem
- The key single point of contact for executive communication
- Responsible for identifying trends (opportunities/threats) within their partner community
- Enterprise Software Advisors
- Recruiting and growing partner Solutions & Retail ecosystems
- Deliver timely and accurate forecasts
- Use MSPP competencies to improve partner lead acceptance and satisfaction

Requirements:

- 3 - 5 years of related experience (experience working in a partner business model is desired)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of Romanian/English/Russian languages
- Sales Management experience preferred
- Keen understanding of consultative solution selling skills, knowledge of service industry, and high medium business acumen a must
- Good knowledge of the local market
- Successful and proven performance in leveraged sales or business development
- Account management and business planning skills a must
- Teamwork and communication skills are critical, particularly in matrix management organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft’s products & channel model
- Minimum 2 years of project proven experience in customer/partner facing
- Self-motivated
- Strong business/commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
- Results oriented and good decision making skills
- Good communicator at senior levels internally and externally (and proven impact at these levels)
- Strategic Thinking & Strategy Development
