In the framework of implementing the Project „Improvement of Water Supply in Moldova Centre“, CES is looking for a candidate for the position of Office-Manager/Translator/Interpreter (full time, duration: 1 year with possibility for extension (with 3 months of probation period), with the below main duties and responsibilities:
∙ Translations and interpretations from ENG-ROM and ROM-ENG
∙ Editing Reports, papers, letters, minutes and other documents
∙ Support to experts with translations and interpretations during site visits
∙ Organization of meetings
∙ Logistical arrangements, including transport and accommodation for international experts
∙ Office supplies procurement support
∙ Liaison with Client
∙ Assume overall responsibility for administrative matters such as registry and maintenance of project files and records
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
∙ University Degree in a technical field (would be an asset), foreign languages, economics or finance
Experience:
∙ At least two years of experience in administrative work, translations or other substantive area is required.
∙ Previous experience in development assistance or related work for a donor organization, consulting company, or NGO.
∙ Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
Other Requirements:
∙ Fluency in both oral and written English and Romanian is a must.
∙ Strong ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines.
∙ Strong reporting, presentation, drafting and interpersonal skills, honesty, orientation on achievements.
