HR-Consulting, on behalf of its client, an international telecommunications company, is looking for candidates for the position of:

NOC/ HELPDESK ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for building and maintaining the satellite communication systems and supporting infrastructure and management interfaces
Providing technical support to customers via Call Centre

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network monitoring
Incident response
Reporting problems
Troubleshooting

REQUIRED:
Experience with layer 2- 4 Ethernet networking protocols – 2-3 years
Familiar with Multicast Protocols, Routing protocols, TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP
Basic VSAT/RF/Wireless Experience (troubleshooting or theory)
Experience on analyzing real time protocols / systems / Access schemes
Experience or exposure to ITIL and ITSM methodologies.
Experience at least 2 years in NOC – an advantage
Familiar with network systems integration
Fluency in English – Must
