NOC/Helpdesk Engineer

The company:
R&D office of an international company, provider of communications products and services

Job Description:
Responsible for building and maintaining the satellite communication systems and supporting infrastructure and management interfaces, also provide technical support to customers via Call Centre.

Responsibilities:
• Network monitoring,
• Incident response,
• Communications management,
• Reporting problems,
• Technical support to customers via Call Centre,
• Work in shifts.

Required:
• Experience at least 2 years in NOC – an advantage,
• Familiar with network systems integration,
• Familiar with layer 2- 4 Ethernet networking protocols,
• Familiar with Multicast Protocols, Routing protocols, TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP,
• Experience on analyzing real time protocols / systems / Access schemes,
• Good communication skills and teamwork, flexible, well developed work habits, good verbal and written skills,
• Must be able to multi-task and work well within a team-based environment,
• Fluency in English – a Must.
